Climatype the first 100% sustainable TypeCon held in Phoenix, Arizona. Over three days, designers from around the world share their work and ideas to inspire change in a city that has a reputation for being America’s “least sustainable city.”
Based on the rocky landscapes surrounding Phoenix, the color palette toys with balancing sand, sun, water, sky, and mountains to create as factors and tools for environmentally sustainable solutions. Intricate linework further alludes to soothing natural elements and was inspired by groove patterns on eroded canyon walls.
The conference brochure and lanyard layer paper like a mountaineous landscape, inspiring sustainable solutions that work with the environment, instead of against it. All paper collateral made using seed bomb paper.
